We’re building a network of people from across Aberdeenshire who want to use their direct lived or living experience of alcohol or drug use — personally or through supporting someone else — to help improve services, strengthen communities, and influence decisions to reflect real experiences. Every contribution matters, whether you take part occasionally or more regularly. You choose what feels right for you.

We are inviting people with lived and living experience of accessing treatment, family members (or nominated representatives), and service providers to take part in interviews as part of the evaluation of Scotland’s National Mission on drugs.
This is an opportunity to share your experiences of accessing, delivering, or supporting treatment and services. Your views are incredibly important. By taking part, you will help us understand what is working well, what could be improved, and what needs to change.
The aim of this evaluation is not just to reflect on progress, but to shape future decisions and improvements. Your voice can directly influence how services are developed, delivered, and funded moving forward.
Interviews will be confidential, respectful, and focused on learning from real experiences. Whether your experience has been positive, challenging, or somewhere in between, we want to hear from you.
