Looking for Support with Drug Use – Step In

Taking the First Step

Asking for help can feel difficult. Many people feel unsure, nervous or worried and that is completely normal. You are not alone.

If you are looking for support for yourself or someone else, Step In, Aberdeenshire’s drug and alcohol service, is here to listen and support you.

There are five Step-In points across Aberdeenshire: Banff, Inverurie, Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Stonehaven.

As well as providing information and advice, these locations offer same day treatment for anyone seeking help with drug or alcohol use.

You can give them a call, drop in directly, or if you are referred, you will be offered an appointment the same day. If you don’t live close to these locations our Step-In staff can arrange transport, or they can see you at a time and place suitable to you.

Support from Step In is:

  • Respectful
  • Confidential (private)
  • Your choice
  • Focused on your wellbeing
